Ashley Seymour

Seymour has been with the Mach Los Track club since February of 2007 and has continued to make huge improvements. Her previous indoor PR for 800 meters of 2:23 dropped to 2:15.22 by the end of the 2007 outdoor season and she ran an all-time best of 5:09.83 for 1600m.

During the 2008 indoor season, Seymour placed 7th for 800 meters at the Nike Indoor Championships narrowly missing the final All-American spot by .32 tenths of a second with an indoor best of 2:15.98, a time which ranked her 29th in the U.S.

In the summer of 2007 Seymour placed third at the 2nd annual MileSplit.com Invitational in Richmond, VA, running 2:15.44 for 800.



 

 

Maura Linde


  High School:        Century

Linde, just a high school freshman, ran the fastest 3200m time in Maryland since 1996, winning the 2008 2A state title for Century H.S. in 10:57.51. Two days later, Linde ran the second fastest time of the day by winning the 2A 1600m run in a personal best 5:05.95 and placed third for 800m in another personal best of 2:20.32.

She swept all three distance events at the 2A West Region meet, setting PR's of 2:22.16, 5:07.83 and a then 11:15.43. The week prior, Linde claimed the Carroll County outdoor crowns for 1600 and 3200 meters. Perhaps her second most impressive race to date was her second place finish in the 1500m run at the Zimmerman Invitational on April 26th with at PR of 4:43.89, which converts to roughly 5:02.7 for 1600m.

During the 2007-08 indoor season, Linde won the Carroll County 1600 title, the 2A West 1600 and 3200 crowns and finished 2nd for 3200 at the 2A state meet while also placing third for 1600 meters in a then PR of 5:22.6.

In the fall, Linde won the Carroll County cross country title in 20:41, the 2A West title in 18:27 and finished 2nd at the state meet in an impressive 19:59 on the tough Hereford course.




 

Charlotte Staver


  High School:    Queen Anne's

Staver, a high school freshman at Queen Anne's H.S., won the 2008 indoor state title for 800m (2A) in a PR of 2:20.65. She had earlier won the bronze medal for 500m in an impressive 1:18.70 which ranked 39th in the U.S. Staver added the 2A Central 800m championship while finishing second for 500m.

The indoor season was her first and only venture into organized track, playing soccer in the fall and lacrosse this spring. Staver is extremely talented with tremendous potential. She hopes to learn and improve during the 2008 summer track season.





 

 

Camilla Henriksen


  High School:        Annapolis              

  Graduation Year:  2010          

Henriksen showed potential as a freshman, finishing 11th at the 2006 Anne Arundel County cross country championships for Annapolis H.S., 10th at the 3A East region and 17th at the 3A State cross country championships. In the winter of 2007, Henriksen placed 5th for the 1600 and sixth for 800 meters at her indoor county championships, while also placing 5th outdoors for 1600m in a PR of 5:25.61.

This fall she again placed well in cross country, finishing 12th at the AA County championships and 16th at the 3A East region meet. During the 2008 indoor season, Henriksen contracted Lime disease which prematurely ended her season. This spring she decided to play lacrosse before returning to running full time.






 

Chelsea Heatley


  High School:        Arundel              

  Graduation Year:  2009          


Although Chelsea will be entering her senior year at Arundel High School, she is new to competitive running. A former soccer and volleyball player, Heatley has turned to middle distance running full-time after just two seasons in the sport during the 2007-08 year.

Heatley steadily improved throughout the year and qualified for the outdoor state finals in the 800m dash, finishing 12th in 2:24.92, and was a member of the Wildcats 4x400m relay (8th) and 4x800m relay (9th).

Her season best in the 800m dash came at the 4A East championships, where the junior placed went 2:22.46. At the 2008 Anne Arundel County championships, Heatley finished third in both the 1600m (5:24.62) and the 800m (2:22.54).

 



 

 

Hillary Lee


  High School:      South River              

  Graduation Year:  2010          

Hillary will enter her junior year at South River high school as the defending Anne Arundel Country cross country champion. She finished second at the 4A east region meet before finishing 11th at the 4A Maryland State championships in 19:53; earning all-state status for the second time.

On the track, Lee recently finished 8th for 3200m at the 2008 MD Outdoor State 4A Championships in a PR of 11:40.68. The next day she established her outdoor 1600m PR of 5:22.29 to finish 11th.

In the fall of 2006, Lee finished 7th at the 4A state cross country championships in 20:11.0 earning her first all-state distinction after finishing as the runner-up at the 4A East and Anne Arundel county championships.
